We’re Alexandra and Sherrie Coppinger, a mother-daughter team with a shared love for baking and a deep passion for creating things that bring people joy. In 2020, we took a leap of faith and opened Common Tart, a pie shop born from years of baking together, traveling, and dreaming of one day sharing our love for pies with others.
For as long as we can remember, we’ve always been in the kitchen together—whether catering for a small business or experimenting with new recipes at home. Our travels together always included a search for the best local bakeries and eateries, and those adventures led us to the idea of starting our own.
Located in Tulsa, OK, our goal is to create more than just pies; we want to serve up a sense of warmth, comfort, and love in every bite. We believe in using high-quality ingredients, and equally as important, we want our desserts to feel like a little slice of home. Every pie we bake is made with care, and our hope is that when you walk through our doors, you feel welcomed and cared for—just like family.
